The Carlson RT5 is a fast, ruggedized Windows® data collector designed for surveying, stake-out, construction layout and GIS mapping, and is bundled with Carlson SurvPC – the Windows-based data collection program. Optionally, the RT5 can run SurvPC with Esri OEM for use in the field. With 8GB of RAM, 256 GB of storage, you can collect and analyze your data quicker than ever before.
The Carlson RTk5 adds an advanced GNSS solution to the RT5, allowing new levels of freedom and accuracy in a compact, light, versatile package. The Carlson RTk5 comes with a custom-built pole and cradle, a survey-grade antenna, a small portable helix antenna for handheld GNSS use, and provides a light, versatile, all-in-one solution for land surveyors, engineers, GIS professionals, and anyone else in need of advanced GNSS positioning with an RTK rover.
 
 * This unit comes with everything you need to setup and start collecting points. That includes The tablet, RTK engine, Antenna, Pole and Survpc GPS software license. Please note you will need an internet connection and an RTK mobile sim card is provided in each kit that will roam off ALL magor  networks for one low monthly price. Signing up is just an option (or you can use another internet/carrier at will) but recommended to minimize downtime when a signal drops out. 
     
**The RTK5 unit lacks internal radios, tilt sensors and hot swappable batteries. It is intended solely as a network rover although you can perform listen-listen base to rover corrections but that will still require cell signal to achieve. If those missing features are relevant for your workflow and you need more autonomy to move across large working areas,  please see the Brx7 Receiver.
